What our team handles.

No two closings are the same. Our job is to explain what matters and keep the work moving.

  1. Title work starts after the contract is signed.

We order or review the title work, flag issues, and coordinate with the other side while there’s still time to fix them.

  2. We stay on top of the lender and the other side.

We stay in contact with the lender and the other side, then give you a clear update on what’s done and what’s next.

  3. You know what happens next.

We guide you through signing and keep you updated through the last steps.

That’s the whole process. It starts with one call: (860) 467-0039.

Questions people ask before they call.

Quick answers. If yours isn’t here, ask us.

What does it cost?

A flat attorney fee per closing, not hourly. The attorney fee goes in writing before work begins. Title search and town recording fees are billed separately at cost.

How long does a Connecticut closing take?

Most residential closings happen 30 to 60 days from the day the offer is accepted. Cash transactions can close in as little as two weeks. The closing appointment itself usually takes under an hour.

Do I really need a real estate lawyer?

Connecticut law requires closings be conducted by an attorney. You choose who that is. Both the buyer and seller typically have their own real estate lawyer, each looking out for their side of the deal.

When should I call?

Call once the deal is moving. Buyers can send us a draft purchase and sale agreement before signing. Sellers and people refinancing can call once they know the property and timing.

This is general information, not legal advice. Every real estate situation is different. Reach out to discuss yours.

No-obligation call

Fifteen minutes on the phone beats five weeks of guessing.

Tell us where you are in the deal. We’ll tell you what to expect, what it costs, and what we need from you. No pitch.
